We Call This Home

Owned and operated by Cassandra Shambo, Twisted Tree Stables is a full service boarding and instruction barn.  Full service and custom boarding options are available to set you at ease and to put your horse in the lap of luxury.

Here my priorities are to the health and comfort of your horse.

Cassandra Shambo has operated Twisted Tree Stables since 2005.  Prior to this, she completed a BS from Cazenovia College for Business Management studies in Equine Industry.  Throughout college and individual training with a myriad of trainers, she acquired proficiency in health and training skills.  She now has over 15 years of triage, medical management, maintenance, and therapeutic procedure experience.

Twisted Tree Stables is perfect for the local recreational rider.
You don't need to show to enjoy your horse!  We have two arenas that can balance private rides and a healthy lesson program.  We are never too busy or too complicated to put you at ease.
Enjoy your ride!

Twisted Tree Stables is ideal for the serious competitor.
With spacious Indoor and Outdoor arenas, we have schooling and standard jumps.  Colors and desensitizing decorations help you get your mount comfortable and brave.  The outdoor or indoor wash rack are the perfect way to cool out after your heavy work.  The aisles are 12' wide.  You will never feel the cramp or press when getting your horse ready.  Cassandra is onsite almost all the time, any questions or issues can be discussed freely at any time!  Cassandra Shambo supports horse and rider combinations in Hunt Seat, Stock Seat, Hunter and Dressage.

Twisted Tree Stables is a heavenly retirement home.
From the beginning, we have had a small population of retiree horses.  Those who have worked hard their whole life, or some even with lifelong injury or health concerns.  Cassandra's vast experience is the perfect capstone to rest your worries on.  The barn is busy enough all of the horses are entertained by the constant activity, but never bothered by loud or flashy noises.  We have a fairly steady stream of organized activity, and all the horses mellow into the rhythm.  It is heavenly.
